Sixteen different plants inhabit this aquarium, allowing them to grow both over and under the water surface. The rugged hardscape and big variation in plants makes an impression of endless details. You will never finish because there is always more to discover. The rapid growth of most plants will add to this, creating constant change.
Tip! The many different plants takes a lot of time and skill to maintain.

A vigorous, green pearl, built after the "Dutch Style" with rows of green plants on different levels, but with a tree root. Hydrocotyle Tripartita with tiny, light green leaves create a vivid front. Lush Crypter in the middle slide almost unnoticeable into the deep silence between Bleheri's great leaves in the back. A couple of Echinodorus 'Reni' are used as contrast plants centrally in the aquarium.
Tip! Choosing only a few different plants adds a strong impression of peace and harmony.

Easy and safe. All plants are able to handle relatively low lighting and no addition of CO2 - but better lighting and CO2 naturally gives a more beautiful result. Rotala will repay with reddish shoot tips and Eleocharis with a denser and more compact growth. The hardy Spiky moss has been divided into small tufts that have been tucked into the ground layer. The dark moss carpet suits the light-green Eleocharis really well. Tip! As the selection of coloured plants in the green Easy category is limited, the use of coloured rocks is an obvious choice.

Diversity and vigour makes an aquarium exciting, but requires experience and a lot of maintenance. The shape of the leaves, colours and sizes have been thoroughly mixed in order to create life and diversity. Just as in nature, the plants are fighting for space and light. The strongest and fastest growing plants must be cut often to prevent them from suffocating the weaker plants. Obviously, ground covering plants must not be shaded, so it is important to thin out the floating plants intensively on a regular basis. Tip! "Jungle-style mixes a lot of different plants, but takes a great deal of practice. The result can easily get very messy.

A world of 1-2-Grow! All variants are represented in this aquarium. The three tallest plants - Nymphoides, Rotala and Heteranthera - show up behind a mountain range of red granite. In between the large rocks, the moss is wedged and creates deep green glaciers. The clear, light green Riccia is tied to a couple of lava stones furthest to the left. Pogostemon and Staurogyne are accentuated in their leaf form as well as colour by Alternanthera, which together with Rotala creates focus areas. Eleocharis, moss, Hemianthus and Marselia, together with Glossostigma and Lilaeopsis, create a vigorous and varied plain landscape, where the little, compact Ammania shoots up here and there. A more harmonious and calm layout can be achieved by using a smaller amount of different foreground plants. Tip! 1-2-Grow plants are smaller than normal pots by the planting and must have time to grow. It is therefore important to fertilize in small doses already from the beginning and gradually increase the dose in line with the growing plant mass.
